The Vivaldi Class or also Navigatori II patrol vessels, also known by their PPX project name, represent a class of light multirole naval units of the Italian Navy designed to replace the patrol vessels of the Cassiopea class (4 units) and the Cassiopea II class (2 units).

The program, which provides for the possibility of having up to 10 PPX, is structured in several phases: 4 units under construction from 2024 to 2030/2032 while 2 are already financed but have yet to be contracted. The expansion from 6 to 10 units is part of the broader twenty-year program of modernization and expansion of the Italian Navy.

Sebastiano Caboto (c. 1474 - c. December 1557)
... was a Venetian explorer, who at various times was in the service of the Kingdom of England,
the Crown of Aragon and the Holy Roman Emperor.
He was the son of Venetian explorer Giovanni Caboto and he grew up in England during his youth.
After his father's death, Caboto conducted his own voyages of discovery, charting the Eastern American
seaboard and seeking the Northwest Passage on behalf of England.
He later sailed for Spain, traveling to South America, where he explored the Rio de la Plata and established two new forts.
