Note: In 1985-1988, Takatsuki and Kikuzuki were upgraded with Mk-29 launchers for RIM-7 Sea Sparrow SAM,
Mk-141 launchers for RGM-84 Harpoon SSM, Mk-15 Phalanx CIWS systems (Kikuzuki only),
new fire control system and TASS (towed array sonar system). Mochizuki and Nagatsuki were not upgraded.
